Van Gogh Chalk Paint

Before I show you this awesome paint I want to share with you how amazing this company is and especially Kathy Van Gogh! I met Kathy through a dear friend while on Vacation. I had been painting everything and anything I could get my hands on, and absolutely loving it,with another chalk paint and I was really wanting to take my new company 'Cougar Chic' to the next level. I cannot tell you enough how much I LOVE this paint! It goes on so smooth and feels soft like butter on your pieces and the colors are beautiful and they have amazing coverage (ok taking a breath LOL) It is so user friendly even my 10 year old is always out in the studio painting away with me (and not letting me help her!) ok so on to the technical stuff:

This beeswax finish is like none other (and yes I have tried others), the only thing you smell is the sweet beeswax! It is so easy to apply and really brings out the color of the paint, and I discovered its like getting a free manicure while you're waxing,if you get some on your hands just rub it in ( and yes i have rubbed it into my cutticles hehe)  I also love that if the cat or dog or kids or ok me too were to ingest it there is nothing harmful in it, completly safe!! This is a gorgeous handmade beeswax finish that is pure and simple and non-toxic – you could even use it on baby toys. We have this especially made for us by a lovely, older British couple who are true artisans and still make our product by hand, just like they’ve been doing for decades.

For an aged effect, use our French Caffeine Beeswax. We import our pigments from Europe, mix our colours together by hand and then ship it over to our Artisan Waxmakers at Clapham’s. They add the rich gorgeous powdered pigments into our Natural Beeswax Finish to create just the right depth and shade of colour for your antique creations.

Our brushes are specifically designed to work with van Gogh Chalk Paint Collection, both paint and beeswax. They are genuine hair bristles & they have a triple thick amount of bristles for carrying a generous paint load to save you labour The two inch brush has been designed with the oval/rounded edges to leave nice soft stroke lines
